If Windows 98 driver can not be installed using the previous method and driver (C:WINDOWS\INF\ALCORUFD.INF), install the Windows 98 icreat mcp driver as follow: 1. unzip the zipped Windows 98 icreat mcp driver 2. running the setup file in the unzipped files 3. connect the Flash Drive to the USB port 4. find the unknown device in the Device Manager of Windows 98 Start the Device Manager as follows: -           click Start point to Settings, and then click Control Panel -           double-click the System icon -           click the Device Manager tab 5. install the drive by manual as follows: -           go to the properties by right click the unknown device icon -           click the driver tab, and then click update driver -           click the next after choosing install from a list or specific location (Advanced) -           browse the drive file name “ICUmss.INF” in the unzipped files and then click next             6.         The unknown device will change to the usb mass storage device in Device Manager, so Windows 98 can recognize the Flash Drive automatically for each connecting the Flash Drive to the USB port.
